When Nick was 16 he started his first band sharing writing duties with Lauren Christie (1/3 of the U.S. hit production team The Matrix and who has since worked with Christina Aguilera, Avril Lavigne, Britney Spears and Shakira).

His second band saw him share the stage with Dave Oberly of Gryphon (drums) and experience working in the studio with legendary engineer/producer Robin Black (Paul McCartney, Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull, Cat Stevens). The band played all over London to rave reviews.

After winning the Mean Fiddler/Loot Music awards with his third band Citizen Kail in 1996, Nick played live extensively and supported both Paul Young and David Grey

That year he also co-wrote the song "Wake Me" with Gordon Waller (from the 1960's duo Peter and Gordon) for the U.S. film "Race With Destiny".

In 2000 Nick started recording his first album, "Englishman". Featuring a beautiful collection of mellow tunescapes, Glyn Evans on fretless and Stephen Williamson on drums.....

In 2005, Nick started playing a new collection of songs at acoustic gigs around the country with violinist Alison Hopper. The resulting recordings were released as "Watercolours". Simple and emotional and with excellent reviews, this album will melt your soul.

Nick's latest album 'Butterfly' is now available on Apple Music and Spotify.....
